Blue Carbon Society co-sponsored the 2nd UN Ocean Decade Regional Conference & 11th WESTPAC International Marine Science Conference by the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR).
Pol. Gen. Phatcharavat Wongsuwan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, presided over the opening of the meeting at The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam.
Focused on ocean science for sustainable development, the meeting covered cooperation, research, and management of marine and coastal resources by the government and the private sector domestically and abroad, as well as students, who are vital to the future of the oceans.
