26 July 2024, Blue Carbon Society joined with Thailand Mangrove Alliance (TMA) to promote the conservation, restoration, and sustainable use of marine and coastal resources at “International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem” at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre.
The association is developing projects to manage and develop sustainable mangrove ecosystems in Phetchaburi in a collaboration with UNDP and the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR).
TMA was established with the DMCR in May to help achieve sustainability in 3 aspects: environmental, economic, and social.
