Blue Carbon Society, Urban Action, and RISC helped research mangrove forests near Bang Tabun Wittaya School and former salt fields at Bang Khun Sai with the director of Bang Tabun Wittaya School, Mr. Sittichai Plaidang, and Bang In Phatthana’s Headman, Mr. Paiboon Tosuwan.

The survey for sustainably managing 14,840 rai of mangroves is part of a project between the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, United Nation Development Program (UNDP Thailand), and Blue Carbon Society.
