The fate of 'Omsin', the turtle in Chonburi who died after eating coins thrown into a pond, reminds us of be aware of how our behavior affects the natural world.
Blue Carbon Society was presented with "The Story of Omsin the Sea Turtle" by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantharika Chansue, Director of the Aquatic Resources Research Institute at Chulalongkorn University. The book tells how the turtle died from eating coins given to make merit but inadvertently hurting an animal.
Blue Carbon Society thanks the institute for this book, which can inspire all of us to properly care for creatures and reduce their risks of being harmed.
